It's finally warm enough to go on a walk! This was Charlie's 1st time facing out in the carrier - he loved looking around at the world!
Happy April everyone! Charlie continues to fill our lives with happiness and love : ) He is such an awesome baby - Pete and I feel so lucky! We were both home on spring break this week so it was wonderful to spend our days with the little guy! Unfortunately, I've had a bad cold for almost 2 weeks now so I spent the week trying to rest and get better! Charlie was sick last week - had a bad cough and was really congested. He did really well though and recovered quicker than I did! We took him into the doctor but they said it was just a bad cold. (he weighed 15 lbs!) We go back for his 4 month checkup the first week of May. He is smiling and laughing all of the time now, and he loves talking to anyone (or anything) that is in front of him! His neck is getting so much stronger and he is constantly turning his head around to see what's going on. On his tummy, he holds his head up and looks around... before that heavy head crashes back down!! I think he might be close to rolling over too - when he's on his back, he rolls up onto one side. Most nights, Charlie is a great sleeper but still wakes up once to eat. He loves spending his days with his grandparents when Pete and I are at work. I think they all missed him this week since he stayed home with us! It is so much fun watching Charlie change, grow, and explore his world! I can't believe he's already 15 weeks old - where did the time go? Well, he's waking up from a nap so I've got to go. Love to you all, Pete, Rachel & Charlie : )
