Charlie - Month Two

I missed posting on Charlie's 2 month birthday but I'm only a few weeks behind! He is 10 1/2 weeks old now and still a wonderful baby! He is smiling all of the time and "talking" to us (and anyone who is around!) He is making lots of coos and other sounds so it is so fun to talk with him! He has also found his hands and loves trying to fit his entire fist into his mouth! At his 2 month appointment, he weighed 13 pounds 3 ounces and was 23.75 inches! Both are around the 75% so he's a healthy baby boy! He had to get shots but was a champ : ) He gave a good scream but once Pete picked him up, he calmed down pretty quickly.

Both Pete and I had to go back to work last week : ( My first day was last Tuesday and Pete's was Thursday. I got a little teary eyed the first day but Charlie did so great! It was his first full day of bottle feeding but he had no problems. I'm thankful that I'm able to provide milk for him even when I have to be away from him! Grandma Ann and Grandpa Dave had their first day care days last week - everything went smoothly and I think everyone had a blast! Sarah and Jesse were also home from Chicago so they got to spend lots of time with Charlie! Grandma Sally and Grandpa Greg start tomorrow. It helps me so much to know that Charlie is with his grandparents during the day! Being back at school is nice but I look forward to weekends and spring break when I can be home with my little boy...the joys of being a teacher! Hope everyone is doing well!

Love, Pete, Rachel & Charlie

Aloha! Thanks Uncle Mike and Aunt Maggie for the Hawaiian shirt : )

Smiles : )

Matching PJ's from Sally & Greg for my birthday! Don't we look great?!

It's so hard to get his smile caught on camera! This was a few weeks ago when he had just really started giving us some good smiles! I think he's pretty darn cute! : )
